What Take-Two has said
At an investor event on September 17, 2026, Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick repeated the company’s strategy of launching, over time, on any platform with a meaningful audience, and said PC is “becoming more and more important.” He gave no date and did not confirm a version. Source: GamesRadar
How long Rockstar games took to reach PC
| Game | Consoles | PC | Gap |
|---|---|---|---|
| GTA IV | Apr 29, 2008 | Dec 2, 2008 | about 7 months |
| GTA V | Sep 17, 2013 | Apr 14, 2015 | about 19 months |
| Red Dead Redemption 2 | Oct 26, 2018 | Nov 5, 2019 | about 12 months |
| GTA 6 | Nov 19, 2026 | not announced | ? |
If Rockstar followed that pattern, a PC version would land somewhere in 2027 or 2028. That is a comparison with history, not a forecast.
What about PC system requirements?
There are none. Any “GTA 6 PC requirements” list circulating today is a guess, because no PC version exists yet.
